Hey folks, hope you’re holding up well these days! It’s been a busy few months for me. Several weeks ago, I finally hopped back on Skype with my buddies Geoff and Kyle (Jonny couldn’t make it) to record another “episode” of our “podcast” Slouching Towards Bethlehem. Of course, we’re not really making anything we expect y’all to listen to. We’re just a few friends having fun catching up and talking about interesting or important issues in the news or in our lives. It’s always a good time though, for us if not for anyone else. Here are the articles we talked about in this episode:
- “The Future of Work Should Mean Working Less,” by Jonathan Malesic, Sept. 23, 2021, in The New York Times.
- “The Secret to a Fight-Free Relationship,” by Rhaina Cohen, Sept. 13, 2021, in The Atlantic.
- “The Difference Between Hope and Optimism,” by Arthur C. Brooks, Sept. 23, 2021, in The Atlantic.
For anyone interested, you can take a listen below. Hope y’all have a great Fall. Cheers!
