Someday, Lawd-willin’, I will become a parent. Is it wrong to say that I’m at least 30% dreading it? Of course, after being a Middle School teacher for five years, it’s really amazing I still want kids at all.
I have so much respect for parents. Mine deserve all the medals just for putting up with me. Anyway, my wife occasionally follows a parenting blog called Awkward Mom, and she recently showed me a post of parents sharing “All The Hilariously Absurd Reasons Why Their Kids Cry.” The post reminded me just how much I have to look forward to.
